Hawzah News Agency- Ezz al-Din spoke on Tuesday, November 3, at the opening scientific session of the 11th Conference of Mujahideen in Exile, held in the Quds Hall of the Astan Quds Razavi library, where he explained the place of anti-arrogance in the thought of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
He said global arrogance in the martyred Imam's intellectual system went beyond a political slogan or a passing description of international conflicts, and in his view held a central place in analyzing the nature of the world order, power relations and the mechanisms of domination over the will and destiny of nations.
He added that the martyred Imam, with a Quranic and civilizational outlook, regarded arrogance as a form of supremacy in which power becomes a tool of domination and superiority becomes a means of denying others' rights and imposing one's will—a view in which arrogance, in its use of power, manifests from interference in countries' affairs and plundering their wealth to denying nations the right to decide for themselves.
Referring to the various dimensions of arrogance, the Lebanese MP stated that arrogance is exercised politically by denying countries' sovereignty, economically through siege, sanctions and creating dependency, and culturally and through the media by imposing intellectual models and weakening nations' identities.
Criticizing US policies of domination, especially Washington's political and military support for the Zionist regime, he stressed that confronting arrogance requires strengthening scientific, economic, cultural, military and security independence and building a productive society that holds the power to decide its own destiny.
Ezz al-Din, referring to the place of the Palestine issue in the martyred Imam's thought, noted that defending the rights of the Palestinian people and confronting the policies of the Zionist regime and its Western backers were among the central pillars of his positions.
He also referred to the martyred Imam's positions after the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and during the Zionist regime's aggression against Lebanon, stressing the importance of solidarity and unity against the enemy.
Referring to regional developments, the head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc said America stands with the Zionist regime and its allies with all its power and capabilities, but regional developments have shown that Iran can change regional equations and play a role in shaping a new international order.
He continued that the new world order must be shaped by nations, active forces and governments seeking social justice, with justice as its main foundation, since imposing one's will by force is incompatible with such an order, and resistance has a fundamental place in any development and equation that takes shape in the region.
Yemen's Resistance Against 12 Years of Siege and Support for Palestine
Later in the session, Haj Fateh al-Khazali, head of the Resistance Bloc in the Iraqi Parliament, referring to the continuation of the Islamic Revolution's path and the thought of the two leaders of the Revolution, said the martyred Imam Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei moved along the path of Imam Khomeini, and this path is a source of pride for all resistance movements, including Yemen's Ansarullah.
Praising the steadfastness of the Yemeni nation, he added that despite 12 years of siege and enduring enormous pressure and harm, the Yemeni people have returned to the field and continued their resistance. This nation is an example of perseverance and steadfastness in the face of difficulties, and its victories are a source of pride for the resistance front.
Referring to the resistance's achievements in Iraq, the head of the Iraqi Resistance Bloc stated that one result of the resistance in Iraq has been forcing American and British forces to leave military bases and withdraw from some positions. After leaving the Erbil base, American forces took refuge in hotels—a sign of their defeat and humiliation before the will of the resistance forces.
Referring to resistance operations against Zionist regime positions in Tel Aviv and other areas, he said these achievements were made possible under the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini's path and the martyred Imam's thought and conduct.
Al-Khazali, stressing the role of moral support in strengthening the Palestinian resistance, said the steadfastness and power of the Palestinian people are among the results of the resistance movement's moral and intellectual support.
Pointing to the enemy's efforts to create discord among Muslim nations, he noted that the enemy relies on division and discord within the Islamic Ummah more than on missile power and military equipment; therefore, the more united nations are, the greater their power and ability to achieve victory.
At the end, the head of the Iraqi Resistance Bloc, saluting Iran's martyrs, the families of martyrs and the youth present on the resistance fronts, stressed that the presence and steadfastness of the young generation on resistance scenes is a clear message of the continuation of nations' resistance and their commitment to the slogan "Hayhat Minna al-Dhilla" (Far be it from us to be humiliated).
Islamic Revolution Restored Hope to the Islamic Ummah
In another part of the session, Abdul Rahim Hamran, head of Yemen's Resistance Delegation, conveying the greetings of Syed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen's Ansarullah, referred to the place of the Iranian nation in Islamic verses and narrations, saying that important points have been stated in the narrations of the Prophet (PBUH) about the Iranian nation and its role in supporting the religion of Islam, including the narration in which the Prophet, referring to Salman al-Farsi, speaks of a people who, if faith were at the Pleiades, would reach it.
Referring to the divine promise regarding the oppressed, he added that God Almighty has willed to make the oppressed of the world the inheritors of the earth and to grant them power and ability. This truth manifested clearly in the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the movement of the Muslim and mujahid Iranian nation under the leadership of Imam Khomeini.
The head of Yemen's Resistance Delegation, referring to the Islamic Revolution's impact on global equations, stated that the Islamic Revolution under Imam Khomeini's leadership caused an earthquake in the global domination system and restored hope to the Islamic Ummah. Relying on the sovereignty of the Quran and Islam, this revolution paved the way for reviving the identity and power of the Islamic Ummah.
Recalling Mohamed Hassanein Heikal's description of Imam Khomeini's character, he said Heikal, referring to Imam Khomeini's piety, God-wariness, faith and jihad, described him as a rare figure in contemporary history and stressed the greatness and impact of the Islamic Revolution.
Hamran, referring to the place of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, said Imam Khomeini, describing Imam Khamenei's character, introduced him as a man of war, a man of the mihrab and a man of the parliament—an expression that shows the various dimensions of his personality and sense of responsibility.
Referring to the martyred Imam's positions in support of resistance nations, he added that Imam Khamenei always stressed standing against enemies and the need to preserve unity among Muslim nations, and in the hardest conditions defended Islamic ideals with a firm spirit.
The head of Yemen's Resistance Delegation, referring to the Yemeni people's reaction to the martyred Imam's martyrdom, noted that after news of his martyrdom spread, the Yemeni people—women, men and children—expressed their anger and grief through massive turnout in the squares, a turnout that showed the deep bond between the Yemeni and Iranian nations and the martyred Imam's place among Muslim nations.
He continued that the Iranian and Yemeni nations stand together on the path of resistance and defense of Islamic ideals, and this solidarity has been repeatedly noted in the positions and emphases of the Ansarullah leader.
Yemen Stands with Iran and the Resistance Front
Hamran, referring to the Yemeni people's support for the Palestine issue, said that based on Quranic teachings and the right to defend against aggression, the Yemeni nation stands with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the resistance front at sea, in the air and on land, and regards the Palestine issue as the central issue of the Islamic Ummah.
Recalling Imam Khomeini's position on the Zionist regime, he stated that Imam Khomeini, in his remarks at the Feyziyeh School, described the Zionist regime as a cancerous tumor and stressed the need to uproot it.
Referring to the long siege of his country, the head of Yemen's Resistance Delegation said that despite 12 years of severe siege, the Yemeni nation continues to insist on preserving its dignity, independence and freedom, and seeks to live in independent conditions, free from the domination and guardianship of America, the Zionist regime and certain regional governments.
Referring to the Yemeni people's efforts to attend the martyred Imam's funeral, he said that despite threats and security risks, a delegation from Yemen was sent to Iran to attend the funeral. Even on the return journey, threats were made against the delegation's flight and the airport was targeted, but the delegation members and flight crew bravely continued their path.
Hamran, stressing the Yemeni people's desire to determine their own destiny, added that the Yemeni people want a just and independent government of their own choosing, with no foreign power dominating their country's destiny.
US Withdrawal from the Region, a Result of Resistance and Iran's Steadfastness
At the end of the session, Hossein Akbari, former ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Syria and secretary of the meeting, referring to the topic of modern Islamic civilization in the martyred Imam's thought, said the martyred Imam always raised the issue of modern Islamic civilization against the theory of the clash of civilizations and stressed in his speeches and positions the need for the formation of a civilization based on Islamic values.
Referring to developments after the recent war, he stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran offered its commanders, children, leaders and the martyred Imam to Islam in this war, but alongside these losses, the achievements and strategic consequences of the resistance must also be considered.
The former Iranian ambassador to Syria, noting that recent developments have led to the retreat of America and the Zionist regime from some regional positions, added that during this war the Islamic Republic of Iran targeted the Zionist regime's vital resources and important military and civilian centers and was able to create an unprecedented atmosphere of fear and terror in the occupied territories, such that residents of these areas were forced to enter shelters on multiple occasions.
He continued that this situation created widespread fear in Zionist society unprecedented in the regime's history; America was also forced to withdraw its Fifth Fleet base from the region, and some of its bases and military centers in the region were targeted by attacks.
Referring to the political consequences of the war, Akbari noted that another result of these developments has been the increased political isolation of the Zionist regime and the clearer exposure of its criminal nature worldwide, even in Western countries.
Referring to Iran's stand against the global domination system, he said the Islamic Republic of Iran entered a broad war against the global domination system with all its capabilities and tools, while a major part of the Islamic world remained silent in the face of these developments.
The former Iranian ambassador to Syria, referring to the Islamic Revolution's achievements in forming the resistance front, said one of the great achievements of the Islamic Revolution is the formation of the resistance front and the axis of resistance, whose effects and greatness we see in Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen's Ansarullah—nations and movements that, despite difficult conditions, continue to follow the path and method of resistance.
Referring to the role of Iraqi resistance in regional developments, he added that Iraqi resistance, in addition to targeting Zionist regime positions, has been able to pave the way for the withdrawal of American forces from the country, and American forces, after evacuating their last base in Erbil, were moved to hotels.
Akbari, stressing the influence of the two leaders of the Revolution's thought on the steadfastness of regional nations, said these achievements were made along the path of Imam Khomeini, the martyred Imam's thought and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, and the Palestinian nation has always benefited from the martyred Imam's thought and views on the path of resistance and steadfastness.
At the end, saluting Iran's martyrs and the youth present on the resistance fronts, he stressed that the nations of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, relying on common ideals and the thought of resistance, will continue the path of confronting domination and defending the rights of oppressed nations.
